Mr. Hodes has over 6 years experience in managed care reporting for at-risk providers.
He has developed several data warehouses including design of the data structure
and implementation of the reporting interfaces. He has developed several software
applications including: HEDIS reporting, stoploss management, IBNR calculation and
budget management. He has extensive experience programming in MS Access, SQL Server,
Visual Basic and MS Excel.
Prior to joining ManagedCare.com Mr. Hodes was the Director of Analytical Services
for East Bay Medical Network, a management services organization serving 210,000
managed care lives across three medical groups and 6 affiliated hospitals. He was
responsible for the development and production of all shared risk reporting and
reconciliation, IBNR estimation, financial performance reporting, utilization management
reporting, budget development and maintenance of the data warehouse. Additionally,
he has experience developing and implementing physician compensation models including
contact capitation and zero-based specialty specific budgets.
Mr. Hodes has also served as the Finance Director of a 25,000-member Northern California
medical group. He was responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and management.
Mr. Hodes received his undergraduate training at the University of Maryland, where
he majored in Chemistry.
